The Vitamin C Infusion Facial has a high safety profile and can be enjoyed with other common topical anti-ageing agents such as sunscreens, tretinoin, other antioxidants, and alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). It is also suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and especially beneficial for individuals looking to:

It is unsuitable for individuals:

• with unrealistic expectations with regard to its whitening effects

For the sole benefit of your skin, topical sources of vitamin C is hands-down better than consumables.

This is because the absorption of ingested vitamin C, even with a high dosage, is finite. This means the resulting bioavailability of vitamin C is inadequate in the skin. Comparatively, topical vitamin C performs significantly better.

But not all topical Vitamin Cs are made equal. Vitamin C is highly unstable on its own, and will oxidise easily. The oxidised form, Dehydro Ascorbic Acid (DHAA), imparts a yellow colour to the skin when applied. This is why it’s important to take note of the shelf life of topical Vitamin C products.
